HISTORY: Crowe's wiki article
WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S STRENGTHS?:
Crowe's probably most notable strength is resilience.
She is a child who was orphaned and then run off from her village, and instead of becoming a nameless victim to the night-time daemons on the roads, away from the protection of a settled area, she made her way to the outskirts of Insomnia, and survived there, too, entirely alone, not a friend in the world. She is a mage who keeps on going when her fellows drop down with the strain of the spell they are weaving together. She keeps going, and she doesn't question it, her own actions included, until after there is safety and a secure space to analyze them.
Another of her strengths is a pretty steady view of what is right and good, a strong moral compass, and adhering to it - and also insisting that those she respects and cares for do the same, even in simple matters like gratitude and appreciation for help given.
An ambiguous strength (some aspects of it are a weakness and will be discussed there) is the way she regards people. Because of having been abandoned, chased away, and what not else, after, she has difficulty trusting people - but those she does trust, she trusts completely. She may not be gentle about it, but seeing her found family in danger means that people have to drag her away to safety physically. If she can help, if she can give something that will make a difference, she will. And she has a lot that she can do and give.
Crowe is also a good soldier, thinking but very loyal and ready to do what needs to be done, even when she is doubting some of what is happening, the justifiability of it. She is also confident enough to not hesitate at all when sent on a mission to a hostile-occupied state, alone and without backup. (And she reasonably expected to return from it - possibly would have, had she not been betrayed.)
WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S WEAKNESSES?:
Crowe's biggest weakness is possibly how vulnerable her trust for her family makes her to them. It would never have occurred to her to doubt that her friends, let alone her Captain, had turned against their country, fighting for the opposite side in the war. (At the very last, she would have fought anyone other than another Glaive. And she possibly would have won. But Luche was one of hers, so shooting her was the last thing she could have expected.)
Another weakness is just how little she trusts people outside of that bubble. For example, on the off time that we see of the Glaive, she is the only one carrying a weapon in civvies. It might be because all the others are guys, and not defenseless even without a knife, but it might not be.
The aspect of her resilience that is stubbornness can also be a weakness. She will not give up on what she has committed to doing, even when it is beyond any chance of success.
WHAT EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUR CHARACTER'S PAST HAVE IMPACTED THEM THE MOST?:
> Being orphaned and cast out ot of her village. This impacted Crowe by giving her the utter awareness than she has no home, she is not welcome, she is not good enough to be allowed to stay, which is an underlying assumption she has about the world. She cannot assume that she will be welcomed anywhere, and she has to work for anything that she gets.
> Being adopted by Libertus and finding a purpose - and a gift - with the Glaive. This is the reason why Crowe even is capable of functioning socially. It let her know that there are, after all, good people who can want her and be kind to her and accept her as she is. Who can be a family for her.
> Luche's betrayal - It is at the very end of her life but. Brutal reminder that trust can be misplaced, and that hurts no less for having known better times. In fact, it hurts more.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOUR CHARACTER?:
In a word, loyalty. Except loyalty is a very complicated thing, with a girl who has been chased away from the village where her supposed kith and kin lived - she doesn't take loyalty towards herself for granted (although she completely does expect loyalty among people who should be loyal to each other) and she works above and beyond what should be realistically expected to retain her place, to do right and everything that - and as - has to be done.
WHAT IMPRESSION DO OTHERS TEND TO HAVE OF YOUR CHARACTER?:
She gives the impression of being cool, cute, and badass. She's not afraid of voicing her opinion, even when it's not flattering, and has an emphatic taste in clothes/style. She is brave and adventurous and maybe even a little too optimistic.
IN WHAT WAYS DOES THAT IMPRESSION DIFFER FROM WHO YOUR CHARACTER REALLY IS?:
Crowe, when in normal condition, gives the impression of being louder and more outgoing than she really is. In fact, she doesn't necessarily need to speak out about what she is thinking or feeling, most of it getting expressed in her eyes. Also, going by the personal effects that Drautos gives Libertus and Nyx, even for an extract and escort mission where she has to be very quiet and fast, she doesn't have much. It suggests a very streamlined kind of personality. But she can fake being more very well.
And she is not even a little bit optimistic. She just works very hard to not bring other people down.
HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE CRISIS OR ADVERSITY?:
Crowe has a habit of trying to smack down fights among her friends, but on the whole, she neither seeks it out (too much war for her to want more) nor avoids adversity particularly. She's a soldier. It's part of her life. Also, she is not one who can easily, or ever, back down from a challenge
Her life is just one crisis after another so to that, most of her reaction is a shrug and get to work.
WHICH 5 THINGS WILL YOUR CHARACTER REMEMBER UPON ARRIVAL, AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THEM?:
> Being chased out of her village as a child.
> The group of Glaive friends - Libertus, Nyx, Crowe, Pelna, Luche - training and joking together.
> The mission to get the princess out and the hairpin connected to it. (But no names connected to it.)
> Just one glimpse of Insomnia as it can be beautiful - even if tinged with so much else, it is a beautiful city and she is loyal to it as the heart of the country.
> Luche gloating over her pain as the world dims
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU FEEL WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?: HMMM. Nothing immediately important.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, & PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES:
Crowe is a very powerful mage, capable of, with support, whip up huge firestorms in the middle of battle. She likely has other Glaive skills (though magic is the one we are explicitly shown, in the movie) - baseline would be warping (teleporting to an item of hers that has been thrown in the direction she wants to go), and probably control of all of the elemental magic (fire, ice, and thunder/electricity) at a smaller and faster scale than the fire tornado spell; also possibly building protective walls, as well. However, the source of her power is King Regis, who is not in the Pines, and so she doesn't have any of those special abilities. (Unless Nyx grants her access to that power anew, since he is a source, rather than connected to a source, at his canon point.)
Physically, she is fit, and fast. She's trained in the use of at least small arms, such as knives/daggers, possibly larger arms, too, though the Glaive don't seem to tend to swords or guns.
She is possibly no stranger to electronics tinkering, since we see her try-testing the tracking tech for Luna, briefly, and it doesn't seem that there is a lot of time for her to be given a lot of training with the tools she has been provided.
INVENTORY:
Brown leather pants and jacket, cotton shirt.
Hairpin with tracker watch to match it.
Phone with Mr. Malboro dongle.
She has with her a dirt bike and helmet, but if that is too large / cannot be taken with, then no bike.
Not on her: Her knife and its sheath.

Revisions: history
She was an orphan who got run out of her village;
Libertus found her in the outskirts of Insomnia, 'scrawny little thing, covered in dirt' and took her in, thinking of her as his little sister;
She became a Kingsglaive because of her rare gift with magic, her comrades the only family she knows.
Due to what is known about the other characters and institutions/settings in the universe, a few more things can be inferred.
Crowe found her way alone from an unknown village in Lucis (far enough out to be among those considered immigrants to the capital, and to have a gift for wielding the Royal magic, which is suggested to not be frequent for those native to the capital), through a countryside that features daemons at night, and possibly other threats, to the protection of the Wall around Insomnia. There is no reference whatsoever to anyone taking mercy on her or helping her until Libertus. She also lived unknown time alone in Insomnia.
Libertus Ostium found her there on the streets, likely when he and Nyx themselves were refugees to the city following the Empire's attack on Galahd, or, possibly, already in training. Libertus says that he noticed her because there was 'something about her eyes.' From that point on, she was no longer alone warding for herself, and even if the dynamic between her and Libertus is not always gentle (she kicks the cast on his wounded leg when he is ungrateful to Nyx, and she tells him she is sick of hearing that she's like a little sister to him), it is deeply caring (both Nyx and Crowe are walking with the stretcher that is taking Libertus away at the end of a battle, and Nyx steps off but a very concerned Crowe keeps on going with him).
The Kingsglaive corps was formed either fifteen or ten years prior to the events of the game (according to two different sources). It is very probable that Crowe may have been too young to join at the very beginning (none of the ages of the characters in the film are explicitly stated), but she certainly acts like a veteran. Her free time shown is also spent with her fellow Glaives.
In all, the basic outline of her history is along the lines of: she is orphaned very young, eventually run out of her village and gets to Insomnia. There, Libertus takes her in and cares for her/raises her some until her gift with magic earns her a place with the Kingsglaive. Then her life is more or less dedicated to the corps.
Once the story of the movie starts, there are more details.
Crowe's first appearance is in the middle of a battle where the Kingsglaive are engaged defending a fortress besides a bridge over a huge chasm. While Nyx, Libertus, Pelna, and others are fighting the monsters attacking on the ground, Crowe, with several other mages, is up on top of the wall, in a relatively secure position. They are working up a spell - a fire maelstrom in the dry air, which they manage eventually, but not before at least some of the mages drop out of the building of it because the strain is too much. Crowe is the last one standing, and holds it up all the way through the appearance of a new daemon, Diamond Weapon, against whom the firestorm doesn't do much.
She watches from the top of the wall the destruction, and then as Libertus is stuck under a rock and Nyx defies orders to retreat immediately so as to go rescue Libertus. She has to be dragged back from watching that unfold and into safety. She's briefly seen walking with Libertus's stretcher as he's taken to medical care.
Her next appearance is during downtime with fellow Glaives, mostly from Galahd. She snaps at Libertus for being ungrateful to Nyx, and then is the one to steer conversation away from getting too morbid while they're out drinking.
Later, during training, Crowe is the one who calls in Libertus and Nyx for the announcement of the treaty. They all hear that Lucis will surrender all outlying territories to Nifleheim in exchange for the safety of the Crown City, Insomnia. She is bitter that all the fighting that they've done over the years was for nothing (as opposed to the bitterness of many of the other Glaives, which is for the loss of their home lands). In the following briefing by Captain Drautos, she is singled out for a secret mission to Tenebrae.
Crowe is supposed to infiltrate Tenebrae and get Lunafreya out, to be secreted out to Altissia where Lunafreya and Noctis can get married, away from the direct hold of the Nifleheim Empire. Before departure, Nyx and Libertus find her, watching her test out the tracking system for the hairpin she has as a gift to Lunafreya. She is focused and determined (and possibly more than a little nervous, since she will be doing the mission entirely alone, as opposed to in a strike force as the usual Glaive assignments).
We next see Crowe as she is dropped off to head out to Tenebrae, on a dirt bike with which get to her destination. The transport which brought her there leaves, reporting out, and she watches a black unmarked van come near her instead, with some confusion.
It is later revealed that others of the Kingsglaive - at the very least Luche Lazarus, who brags about it - attack at kill her, a personal betrayal and a symptom of the deeper running skein of betrayal within the corps, led by its Captain himself.
Her body is found by homeless people digging through heaps of junk and brought back to Insomnia, where the revelation of her death snaps Libertus, so he leaves the Kingsglaive and temporarily turns against the Crown, and upsets Nyx deeply.
